Whats that stuckinyourhead?

I guess its time for the first of my many many TOPS lists..
Todays topic: 'TOP TV show soundtracks you will NEVER forget'

(more like songs that you hear and from a mile away, and you can tell exactly what show- lyrics- sing along-be it good or bad...and eventually the song will get stuck in your head for the rest of the day-or does that only happen with me?!

*(in no particular order btw)
1. "Hey baby, I hear the blues a-callin', Tossed salad and scrambled eggs" - imagine that line but with a heavy sophisto voice and youve got the infamous FRAISER, soundtrack.
Listening to 11 seasons of this its kind of hard to ever forget.

2. "Californiaaaaaaa here we cooomeee.." The O.C bitch! Even though now it will probably make you cringe a little when you hear it, it is still a very memorable theme song that is burned into your memories for a very very long time.

3."ohhh..Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS"..someone once said this shows theme song must have been designed by scientists as some sort of weapons of mass irritation. But that doesnt stop us from (secretly) wanting to scream 'Spngbob sq pants' along with the choir of screaming children.

4."Shes a small wonder, pretty and soft with curls" the very very cheesy Cliche'd storyline behind Small wonder, about the robot girl and the family she lives with. God that show was Gay. and the theme song even more gay. And yet id watch it..more because wonder years was on next. and i LOVED my wonder years.

5."DUHH DHUU DHANND twung tweng twung twung.." i dont really know how to describe the X-files theme song..but im sure you already have it playing in your head by now. The Creepy very shady theme song will forever be burned into my memory. I still get excitement filled goosebumps when i hear it, in anticipation that im going to get to watch the show again after years. What a show, made me want to join the FBI(spent most of my childhood fantasizing the different cases id solve as an agent :P..excuse me, WHO HASNT?)

6."I'll be ready, everything is going to be alright..ting ting..coz im always there i wont let you out of my sight.." Yes this theme song introduced every episode of steroid and silicon filled blood pumping adventure on Baywatch. With David Hasselhoffster singing it himself..need i say more?!

7."ta ta ta raaa.."i cant describe it, i sound like a fool..so im just going to say SIMPSONS, best cartoon on tv and best intro! not only the song but also the way it starts every show with them doing something different with teh last scene of the intro on the sofa..classic!

8, 9, 10...
hahah i blame it on the memory loss*

But i will give special mention to the intro-song for Big Bang Theory's by the Bare naked ladies.."Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,That all started with the big bang!" (new fav)
..and when i was into these other shows i was in love with their soundtracks too..
Smallville-"Somebody save me"
Rosswell-"oh i am what i am i'll do what i want but i can't hide "
Gilmore girls-"Where you lead, I will follow "

An Ode to Friendship

This post i dedicate to one of my closest friends. She's sort of like my funny bone and frankly speaking i really dont remember the last time i had a serious conversation with her.(hehe) she is my partner in crimes against any form of intelligent/rational/normalcy; she is also my enabler-[the person who makes an addiction(an addiction to bullshit) even worse haha]; and she is probably the only one who can make a crappy mood of mine evaporate like nail polish remover!
(neno if your reading i love you and i miss you everyday *OG :P)

So as usual i got slightly distracted at work and stumbled upon a funny article which i thought id share..Mostly because its the kind of thing that me and neno would sit and endlessly talk about for hours, and when we dont talk about it, we are most definitly thinking it :)
(i picked out my favorite ones from it )

"Random Thoughts of a 25-35 year old.."

(Lets start with this one since that’s what happened with me Today :s-which then led me to find this interesting article haha)

-You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work
when you've made up your mind that you just aren't doing anything
productive for the rest of the day.

-More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can
think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell
my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves
me.

-I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

-There is a great need for sarcasm font.

-Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and
suddenly realize I had no idea what the f was going on when I first
saw it.

-I think everyone has a movie that they love so much, it actually
becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I'll end up wasting
90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone's
laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little
bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I'm still the
only one who really, really gets it.

- I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear
your computer history if you die.

-The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to
finish a text.

- LOL has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say".

- I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

- I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars teams up
to prevent a dick from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers!

- I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the
shower first and THEN turn on the water.

-Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go
around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly
nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be
a problem....

-Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still
not know what time it is.

*i know i know i use too many brackets..but its the only way i can put more then one conversation in a sentence! you know what i mean!
:)

500 days of Summer- my thoughts..

sooooo i just watched '500 days of summer' annndddd...
OMG it was awesome!!!
im a BIG softy when it comes to romantic movies/comedies
and this one hit a home run with me!

firstly let me say, the guy Jason something..(the little skinny one from third rock from the sun) OMG soo cute! and for the first time sweater-vest DO me!! wow! if i saw him singing kareoke like that in a bar id jump him.

secondly it was so 'Beautifully done'. kinda gave you little butterflies and made you smile (the shy silly sort of smile) and mind you, i was watching it all alone. and to smile the way i was(yes sounds stupid being alone and all) but it was very 'adorably done'.
id also like to add that the 'Pauses' were placed in all the RIGHT places..so kudos to the director!!

im sorry im trying but i CANNOT get over his cute little droopy sleepy eyes and shy smile, with just the right amount of little bit of stubble (i know i know i sound like a little 13 year old but im in love all over again- and hes not even my usual type which makes it even more exciting)

*music is GREAT too!

i suggest everyone should see it!
I LOVED IT!
and i can see myself watching it over and over and over and over again..

p.s i totally relate to Tom! TOTALLY! but i dont really blame summer for being the way she is..i think we all have a little bit of fear-the wall of distance and space- in us! but Tom...ohh sweet sweet Tom hanson!

anyays im rambling-dont want to spoil it-go watch it if you havnt!
:)

A very Floopy feeling..

Floopy.

Its a word. I checked.
okay i checked in Urban dictionary..
and some people out there DO consider it an actual dictionary. I swere!
Anyways, Urban Dictionary says, floopy means:

1. confused; cant make sense of their life
2. disturbed uncharecteristic behaviour
3.That feeling when you're all lazy and feeling heavy
4. an unborn in the womb (a.k.a Floopies..hahaha wont be able to say fetus without a straight face now)

and lastly, my personal favorite 5. A DNAism*. In the manner of a happy mattress.

*Im not sure what that last meaning is all about, but i know im already loving it.

Coming back to my original train of thought(yes i tend to be quite tangential-stay on topic E)
ohh yes, so why was i looking for the meaning of the word flooopy?
well mostly because thats how iv been feeling these days. Absolutley Floopy!
and urban dictionary really put all my feelings into one word, because YES, i am feeling ALL those things- even the happy matress at times(*confused-but feeling it)
and im feeling other many many feelings which could all be expressed if you put together all the emoticons on the msn messenger.
But lets save that for next post.

(i should come up with something cheesy to put a nice 'end touch' to my first post, but i cant think of anything. Writers block already? hahah..next post maybe!)

:)

p.s: since its my first post i think i should warn-beforehand-my spellings are terrible! so please excuse my mistakes, if any!
thanks much!
